Book Review: The Wanderess by Roman Payne

A few weeks ago, I saw a travel quote that spoke to me:
"She was free in her wildness. She was a wanderess, a drop of free water. She belonged to no man and to no city." pic.twitter.com/88QQSe2XZH

I looked up where it came from, and knew I had to read Roman Payne's The Wanderess. And of course I loved it! Even though it was a work of fiction, it had a lot of bits in it capturing the different emotions of being a full-time wanderer.
Here are some of my favorite travel-related quotes:
“Ill tell you that no feeling resembles that wonderful sensation of when I would leave a city behind me with all the luggage I owned, all the things I care about inside, nothing left behind except the old acquaintances I was happy to leave behind along with the experiences Id learned, and time. ”
“Our most interesting life changes seem to arrive by complete accident. A chance meeting will inspire a new venture that one would never have considered before.”
“When wanderers wander, they do not diminish. The world lays itself out beautiful before them; a rich tapestry to explore; with love in abundance. ”
“But for this, a wanderer must be favored by Fortune. Fortune is not riches, it is Poetic Beauty that comes by surprise!like a ship coming in from Dover”
The story if filled with suspense, brilliance, romance, and adventure. Highly recommend it for everyone, especially wanderers!
